Establishing Aries ~ 26 Feb 2015

Aries has a reputation for speaking in first person pronouns, and while doing so, making huge declarations of impact and range of influence. Now, we find out, there may be something special and substantial behind such statements. Of course, any self-respecting Aries will tell you that you should have been listening all along.

In the past days it has come out that astronomers in China discovered what is likely the largest supermassive black hole yet. Weighing in at an estimated twelve billion times the mass of our Sun, this new black hole dwarfs the 6.4 million solar mass estimate for the size of the black hole at the core of our super galaxy (2 Libra), and the 300 million solar mass of the black hole in NGC 7052 (2 Pisces). Here, it should be noted that these nearly incomprehensible figures are recent estimates, and speculative guesses at black hole size is pretty much the best that can be done. These are all huge supermassive black hole systems. Suffice it to say, the reach of influence for each is vast.

So where is this new candidate? It’s so new it has not yet shown up yet in the traditional archives available. According to my calculations SDSS J010013.02+280225.8 occupies 24 Aries 59 minutes and 29 seconds.

Because of the mouthful to say and the keystokes to type, I’m just going to refer to it as the black hole. This black hole contains a quasar which is one of roughly forty quasars with a redshift greater than z=6. Redshift is an indication of light moving away, which translates to a very rapid movement away from our point of observation. As one Union Civil War general put it when facing insurmountable odds, “I am retreating as fast as I can.”

That’s not to say that retreat is possible when facing a supermassive black hole. It’s not. They captivate and capture, drawing anyone or anything in proximity into its vastness. There, another dimension is experienced, processed and consciousness shifted. According to the rules of black hole dynamics, nothing in form can leave the black hole. After gaining awareness, you cannot take it with you.

It’s like having a consciousness-shaping dream that in the course of exploring amazing insights a vow is made to remember every single detail. Upon waking, the resulting realizations of the dream remain, though specifics are scanty and details impossible to retrieve. Or in a meditative state, often insights are revealed, which simply cannot be articulated into works. The shift induced by the insights remains.

What does this black hole and its ultra-dimensional reality mean? Hard to know. It’s only been in our consciousness for days. But suffice it to say, its Aries nature implies the need for diving into the depths of the psyche to extract all dimensions of self realization that can be gleaned. Likely such a dive produces no translatable effects, however, a subtle internal shifts occur.

The timing of the announcement is fortuitous. In the next weeks, each of the personal planets will transit this black hole structure. For several days on either side of the exact transit date, per the influence of the planet (and Sun) notice the things that capture your attention. Notice those aspects of yourself that you are irresistibly drawn to explore. Take the dive within. Bask in the amazing alternate state of you-ness. When you return to standard conscious attention, it will be something you cannot explain. However, you’ll be all the better for the realizations assimilated. Let those realizations pervade your being and reflect in your consciousness.

On March 12 Venus transits the core of this black hole. Up for grabs: talent, resources, attributes, personal tools and the sense of self worth. Locate all inner assets, applied or unapplied. Vow that each day all integral skills will be included in each and every action.

On March 24 Mars aligns with the black hole. It’s time to evaluate your personal style of going for it. If need be, knock off the edges, remove the hesitation of passivity, and emerge with clear, confident energy that engages life in a persuasive and positive manner.

On April 10 it’s Mercury’s turn to tally what’s up with this newly discovered singularity. The end results: refined listening skills, cultivated attention spans, clear articulation, impeccable self expression.

Finally, in this upcoming transit parade, the Sun moves into exact conjunction on April 14th. This marks a time of self acceptance, self realization and self integration. It’s a time of knowing who you are at the core. No matter if you can explain yourself. Like the Sun, you’ll just have to radiate it.

The urge for engaging in unlimited self realization lies on the event horizon just ahead! Here’s to exploring Aries, and the entry into new dimensions of self wonderment. There’s no Simon Sez involved. Once you stop to take a look, ponder, or hesitate in the slightest, you’re going in for a far-ranging look. Enjoy!
